SUPERIOR Interior Roller Blinds
High performance internal screens and roller blinds offer an alternative to provide solar heat, light and UV control, where exterior blinds are not possible, whether it be down to access, maintenance issues, planning, budget or even aesthetics. Of the greatest quality, featuring durable and robust components our interior blinds are both flexible and effective.
Our premium blinds offer perfect control against bright light and unwanted glare to ensure optimum visual comfort. A vision barrier is provided from overlooking buildings and prying eyes whilst the view and connection from inside to out is maintained. Additionally a good portion of incoming solar radiation is absorbed and reflected to provide high levels of protection against excessive solar heat gain.
Furthermore in the winter months, air trapped between the glass and fabric provides a thermal barrier helping to slow heat loss from the building lowering heating bills.
How they work…
Our interior roller blinds work in a similar manner to our external roller blinds; fabric wrapped around a rigid galvanised steel rollertube is attached to a weighted aluminium lead rail which keeps the fabric taut at every position as the blind raises / lowers when operated by the motor contained within the fabric rollertube.
On certain models aluminium side wires or channels guide the lead rail as the blind opens / closes, ensuring it runs smoothly and square. An optional built in tensioning systems allows our sealed cassette blinds to be used at any angle, ideal for sloping glazing such as roof and sky lights.
The fabric (dependent on system) can roll from the front or rear of the barrel and they are virtually the same width as the overall blind including mechanism to minimise the chance of any light leakage around the sides.
