The British fondness for barbecuing is only set to continue as popular barbecue brand Outback announced excellent sales figures earlier today, surpassing all of 2016’s sales targets. Despite some initial post-Brexit uncertainty, Outback’s UK chief executive explained how among top consumer preferences, barbecues in stainless steel were in most demand, as seen above beneath our client’s Outdoor Living Pod.
This triumph follows the Garden Centre Association reports earlier this year, revealing a 35% rise in furniture and barbecue sales for May compared to 2015, showcasing how much Brits are enjoying wining and dining alfresco. The number of stay-at-home holidays are also expected to continue to rise, bringing numerous benefits for suppliers of the UK’s expanding leisure market.
A growing consumer desire for ‘staycations’ as well as the ability to barbecue regardless of the weather forecast is a trend we’ve witnessed at Caribbean Blinds over the past few years, particularly with our highly-acclaimed Outdoor Living Pod.
Our multifunctional Pod can be used for entertaining throughout all four seasons, thanks to LED lighting, infra-red heating and the real star of the show- the opening and closing louvered roof- which operates at the touch of the button. Better still, its incredibly low-maintenance, providing the perfect place to safely secure and protect all your alfresco accessories whilst adding incredible kerb appeal to your home and garden.
If you’d like to see our Outdoor Living Pod in action, we will be exhibiting at The Homebuilding & Renovating Show at Excel, London from 23rd-25th of September. This is the ideal opportunity to see our state-of-the-art blinds, awnings and award-winning louvered roofs in action whilst enjoying our exclusive show offers.
