The Year Ahead

Following our review of a successful 2014 at the end of last week, we thought we’d start this week by giving you a brief insight into what we’ve got planned for 2015. We’re not going to give everything away, after all, we don’t want our competitors copying us but here’s a little taster…

Already in the first 12 days of the New Year, we’ve completed the merging of all our micro-sites, including this blog and our dedicated trade dealer portal into our main cbsolarshading website, so everything is in one place and most importantly easily accessible with the right information found for each sector / requirements with only a few clicks of a button. Our web presence is extremely important to us, as usually it’s the first port of call for customers, so other than making sure we give the right impression, its paramount that the relevant information can easily be found and that we can easily be contacted, which we hope the integration of all our websites into one has achieved.

Our online activity will further be improved as we will actively be engaging across all key social media platforms to provide a new way to interact with us, including Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, along with creating inspirational product and seasonal mood boards on Pinterest. If there is anything you would like to ask / share with us, that you feel would be beneficial for the wider community to know the answer to or be aware of, this will be a great way.

Our literature has also undergone a refresh and we have moved away from individual product sheets, having produced a new comprehensive 36 page product catalogue that will be back from the printers later in the month. The catalogue details our entire product portfolio, explaining the numerous superior features & benefits and is packed full of inspirational photography.

We are also increasing our exposure in homes and garden related magazines, running new look outdoor living & solar shading adverts in all leading titles including Real Homes, Grand Designs, Homebuilding & Renovating and Good Homes. They have already started to appear and you can see an example of the advert style below:Caribbean Blinds Advert

Our product range, in particular our award winning Outdoor Living Pod will again be exhibited at both Grand Designs Live shows, taking place in London Excel between 2-10 May & the NEC Birmingham between 8-11 October. It’s a great way for you to see and feel life size, full working models. Our experts will be on hand to run through the numerous features and benefits plus we will have some amazing offers running throughout the shows, so it's an ideal time to purchase our products, if it fits with your property rennovation plans / schedule.

And finally we’ve created 4 new job roles across our production / installation and admin departments (one of which has already been filled) to ensure we continue to cope with existing (and forecasted) demand for our products, offering superior service, with products expertly manufactured and installed to the highest standards, all in a reasonable timeframe.

That’s a brief (very brief) summary of what we’re upto this year but keep checking back on the blog to stay up to date with both company and solar shading industry news, including product innovations and developments, interesting projects and much more…
