Yesterday, on the first day of Summer and hottest day for over 40 years, Caribbean Blinds, the pre-eminent name in external shading, launched their new Outdoor Living Showsite & Shading Experience Centre at their head office in Sudbury, Suffolk to their trade dealer network.
The sun was shining, the champagne was bubbling and the BBQ was grilling for what was the biggest external shading event of 2017 so far (yes there will be more!). More than 100 Caribbean dealers from across the country turned up for the launch, refreshing on key products and discovering the features and benefits of new products and innovations in the range including the Prestige Outdoor Living Pod. Additional factory tours gave an in depth insight into what goes into producing the finest external shading systems were for many the highlight of the day – with the fabric confectioning the star of the show.
Dealers got the opportunity to mingle and discuss with each other how they market and sell in their areas, sharing ideas whilst enjoying a relaxed alfresco experience under one of the many Outdoor Living Pods on display. The leading European designers who we partner exclusively with were amongst our guests along with magazines, newspapers and even the radio.
Every guest that turned up certainly benefited from the event. With exclusive promotional offers, expert advice and an insight into the manufacturing world, they undoubtedly went away fruitful in knowledge and tools to aid them in their future projects. The event was a resounding success, forging continued partnerships with dealers for years to come.
