We’re Back

The festive holidays were a great time for us to reflect on the incredible year we had last year, we made many milestones, forming special partnerships, winning awards and reaching our business goals. Year on year we have seen continued success and we are very grateful to our dedicated team for supporting us on our journey.

Now it’s 2020 and we are ready to take on the year with full force, setting the bar higher than ever before. Already going into the new year we have received some astounding news from Family Business United, as we have been shortlisted for the ‘Family Business of the Year’ award for East Anglia, a great way to start the year motivated with some recognition for our hard efforts. After last year’s success at the East Anglian Daily Times Suffolk Business Awards and the beneficial impact it had on our company, we are inspired and committed to delivering an impeccable service whilst having a positive social impact.

As a result of the prestigious award we wanted to give something back by sponsoring the East Anglian Daily Times Food & Drink Awards 2020. A truly influential awards for the Suffolk region, giving food & drink establishments across the county the appreciation they deserve. We will be sponsoring the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ category, with our Managing Director personally sitting on the judging panel.

So, what else does 2020 have in store for Caribbean Blinds? This year we will be holding our very FIRST EVER External Shading Conference – CBCON20. The first of its kind, delivering expert knowledge on sales & marketing in the industry to help our new and existing trade dealers sell more. The event will be taking place Monday 09th March 2020, a full day event hearing from industry experts. This is an unmissable opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and network with specialists. You can find out more details about the event here.

This year we will be making our first debut at the Chelsea Flower Show 2020, partnering up with Bridgman Furniture. Our innovative and superior Outdoor Living Pods™ coinciding with the well designed and stylish furniture from Bridgman, will create an unforgettable inspirational luxury outdoor living scenario. It’s an event we are most looking forward to, meeting people from all over the country who share the same inspired outdoor living vision.

Our new website that we have been working on over the last year and a half will soon be live at the early part of this year. A new website has been well overdue, and we are excited to show you the results. Over the past few years we have been collating an inspirational selection of images and working with external partners to create a smooth user experience whilst providing our viewers with all the expert external shading knowledge they need. This is an important milestone for us as we make our mark as the industry leaders with over 30 years’ experience, we want this website to be the go-to hub for all External Shading requirements.
