Caribbean Blinds supports with installation of life-saving defibrillator

We’re pleased to have played a part in a local community project to install a publicly accessible defibrillator on the Woodhall Business Park where we are based, ensuring vital emergency equipment is available to businesses and visitors across the site.

The defibrillator has been installed at local business Indigo Ross, which is centrally positioned and easily accessible to all, and has been funded and supported by a group of local firms working together to improve safety on the park in Sudbury, Suffolk. Access cards containing the entry code have been distributed to every business on the park and the unit can also be accessed by members of the public.

Stuart Dantzic, Managing Director said, “This is a simple but powerful example of what can be achieved when local businesses pull together. In a cardiac emergency, minutes matter. Knowing there is now a defibrillator on site that anyone can use gives real reassurance to everyone who works on or visits Woodhall Business Park.”

The project has been delivered with the support of Caribbean Blinds, Indigo Ross, Adria, Younger Smith Ltd, The Housekeeping Hub, AAA Cabs Ltd, Cockx Packaging, Heatweb, JC Kitchens and Clark & Eves Ltd.

The installation of the defibrillator provides a lasting benefit to the business park and underlines the value of collaboration between independent firms committed to supporting their local area.
