How do you keep your Awnings, External Blinds and Louvered Roofs Safe from the Snow and Frost?

Outdoor Living Pod, Louvered Roof, Pergola, Canopy

Our Shading Solutions have been engineered with tough materials to combat the harsh elements of the British climate. The robust design and innovative features of our External Window Blinds, Patio Awnings and Louvered Pergolas give them longevity, a feature our clients desire when purchasing an outdoor home & garden solution.

Even though we have complete faith in our External Shading Systems abilities to withstand the ever changing conditions we would always advise all our clients to take careful measures when the temperatures drop to freezing to ensure the durability of their Outdoor Blinds, Garden Awnings and Louvered Canopies.

During these conditions we would recommend that clients retract their blinds and awnings to keep them protected within their sealed aluminium casings. If you have a frost setting on your Outdoor Living Pod™ then you will not have to worry as the louvered roof will open automatically before the temperature drops too low, this will keep the seals protected from being damaged. If you have stored furniture under your canopy then we would advise that you cover this up or store in dry area. If you do not have the frost setting on then it is important to keep the louvered roof closed during the cold weather to protect the seals from being damaged if opened.
