We’re 30 Years Old

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Caribbean Blinds UK Ltd. Over the past three decades we’ve grown from humble beginnings with a single employee working out of a rented unit to today owning our own modern 30,000 sq/ft production facility with staff working across survey, sales, marketing, production, installation and aftercare, producing 1,000’s of premium external shading systems each and every year.

Covering the majority of England, our products can be seen adorning the facades and gardens of homes and businesses with a particular focus on mid-high end residential and specialist commercial applications. Products are built with the same pride, passion and care as they were when the company founded albeit with the assistance of start of the art machinery to ensure they are the very pinnacle of precision. 2017 has seen some major investments, including the setting up of an inspirational showsite with show gardens to see how our products would work in your scheme, along with new machinery including a 12.5m semi automatic sewing machine (yes that’s 12.5m long – more info on this coming soon).

Whilst the company has seen significant growth, we’ve remained true and focussed on being external shading specialists, something we put a great deal of emphasis on. We do not get involved in any other home or garden improvement products, not even interior blinds or glass rooms and this makes us completely unique in the industry – one of the key factors for our growth over the years, along with endless positive customer reviews and referrals.

Caribbean Blinds is today the pre-eminent name in external shading and the entire team are looking forward to the future, continuing to delivering the finest external shading systems, expertly made and installed, backed with unrivalled service and care.

To mark 30 years and show you what goes into producing the finest external shading systems, we’ve created a behind the scenes short video featuring Dhan, Danny & Sam, each who have been with CB for well over a decade – enjoy…
