Recent research which questioned Brits on their revised plans for Summer 2020, revealed that two thirds will not travel abroad this Summer even if government guidelines permit, with only 16% stating they would be happy to travel overseas amidst the pandemic.
With one fifth of respondents saving between £3,000 – £5,000 and one third saving in excess of £8,000 due to cancelled trips abroad, Brits are now planning to invest their holiday budget into home improvements and it comes as no surprise that almost half will opt to use the budget on their gardens and outdoor living, creating their very own holiday at home.
