Solving Glass Room Overheating Problems with External Roof Blinds

With building work fast completing on their home renovation and extension and realizing their new glass room living space was overheating before they had even moved in, the Malleys from Cambridge, knew they needed to find a suitable shading solution sooner rather than later.

Knowing the benefits of external shading and following a recommendation from a representative of a leading internal blinds company, the client organised for our surveyor to attend site.

Following a detailed survey and after running through the features and benefits along with showing physical samples of the available options, the client placed an order for recommended Cayman external roof blind, sized to cover the glass in a single unit and spaced off the glazing using height adjustable brackets to allow the roof vent still to partially open with the blind extended for natural ventilation.

As this client was local to our factory, so reducing travel time and chose a special offer ‘stocked’ hardware colour, reducing production time we were able to offer a swift turn around, just two weeks to be precise, ensuring their blind was installed ready for when they moved back into the property.

Following installation, the client kindly sent us the below review of their experience:

“The blind is fantastic.

Your service from the beginning was impeccable and the installation was smooth and professional – the guys were great.  Thanks again for squeezing us in – we really appreciate it.  We’ll certainly be highly recommending you – and by the way, it was the chap from Hillary’s blinds who put us on to you and said you were the only company to use…!”
