Client Feedback: Delightful Installation Process

More great feedback about both the quality of our personnel and products following a tricky installation of our Outdoor Living Pod to a terrace in Loughborough last week.

“I can only say we have been delighted with every stage of the process from our initial discussions with you to the installation and obviously the finished patio cover.

Throughout the process you have personally dealt with all our numerous questions and provided reassurance. The fitting team were great; very courteous, conscientious and careful – a credit to your business (please thank them again).”

This particular installation of our Outdoor Living Pod posed several challenges, all of which were discussed in great detail with the client at survey, including the possible installation and finishing touch options to ensure the right finished installed solution was provided.

As can be seen from the photo below, the Outdoor Living Pod was fitted with a triangular infill panel to one side to bridge the gap between the straight side edge of the structure and angled edge of one side return wall of the property. A nice finishing touch is the false fascia plate to the front of the triangular infill panel, which gives the impression that it is an extension of the front cross beam of the Outdoor Living Pod (as if a coupled unit).

At the rear, custom designed load bearing supporting brackets were installed to the rendered columns each side of the large window to support the Outdoor Living Pod, avoiding the need to have rear posts (uprights) and also these brackets push the Outdoor Living Pod away from the glazing, ensuring the upper windows could still open when required.

The Outdoor Living Pod will not only enable use of this large terrace space all year round, but has seamlessly tied together the staggered elevations of the property, as if it were part of the original design.
