From Winner to Judge at the Suffolk Business Awards

Suffolk Business Awards | Judge

Back in 2019, our Managing Director Stuart was aptly named as Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the prestigious Suffolk Business Awards. Suffolk is a really strong business hub so to win against such strong competition was an absolute honour for him.

Following the win, Stuart has been seen adorning the covers and pages of magazines and newspapers as a result of his win and attracted attention from all sources for him and for Caribbean Blinds. This shows us the power that these awards have on a business – not just a shiny trophy to add to the cabinet!

Since then, Caribbean Blinds has also been named Scale-up Business of the Year at the 2021 Awards and in a bitter sweet twist, we now have to wait two years to enter the awards again.

But it’s not all bad news, Stuart was honoured to have been asked to be a judge at this year’s awards and is delighted to be judging the award very close to his heart, Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2022.

Open to all types and sizes of businesses across the region, The Suffolk Business Awards bring the county’s business community together to celebrate each other’s achievements and highlight the leaders in each industry.

Stuart is now busy judging the 2022 entries and the finalists will be announced in the East Anglian Daily Times, and online on 31 August. The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony at Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich on Thursday 29 September 2022.
