Major Expansion Plans Unveiled

Caribbean Blinds | Expansion

We are thrilled to announce we have been granted planning permission and are due to imminently commence with a huge 10,000 sq/ft extension to our current factory site in Sudbury, which is due for completion in Spring 2021.

More than doubling the company’s current storage capacity, the extension will accommodate all aluminium profiles for every product line, as well as the aluminium and steel cutting department, releasing space within the main building for extra assembly stations and rigs, resulting in a significantly increased production capacity, to ensure we can continue to meet demand for our products and projected future growth.

This investment has also enabled us to remain on our current site in Sudbury for the foreseeable future, continuing our two-decade long residence in the area and the height of the extension has scope for even further future growth, with the ability to include a second (and potentially third) floor in the extension building, mirroring the floor plans of our existing main building.

Since the company was founded in 1987, Caribbean Blinds has been exclusively designing, manufacturing and supplying the very finest external shading products that transform the use, functionality, and enjoyment of all types of spaces. Whilst the company has grown significantly over the years, it remains family owned and run and dedicated to enhancing homes and businesses across the country with superior quality UK manufactured external shading systems that combine style, function and durability, backed with expert advice and knowledge.
