Scaling New Heights at Caribbean Blinds!

Our tuxedos and fancy frocks are ready for action as our calendar is filling up with award ceremonies this autumn and this week we have added another one – the Scale-Up Awards 2022!

We were over the moon to receive the news that we are finalists in two categories – the Manufacturing Excellence Award  and Family Business of the Year 2022. This is a fantastic achievement for the team as this is the first time we have entered these awards and there were over 400 entries being overseen by an independent judging panel.

We are particularly delighted to have been shortlisted for the Manufacturing Excellence award as we pride ourselves on producing top of the range, quality products and don’t cut corners to achieve these standards. It is such an honour that the judges have recognised this. It is particularly fitting as our MD Stuart has also heard this week that he had made it in to The Manufacturer Top 100 list in the Inspiring Leader category!

The Scale-Up Awards are organised by Business Leader, the leading media company for entrepreneurs, founders, CEO’s, investors, advisors and business leaders.

Celebrating high-growth companies and the entrepreneurs running them, the Scale-Up Awards are the first and only awards focusing on the scale-up sector and are open to all UK companies regardless of sector.  They are an exciting and dynamic celebration of business achievement and growth. As we always say here at Caribbean Blinds, our growth is down to each and everyone who works here, the hard work they put in and their commitment to the brand. We are lucky to have such a dedicated team and being recognised like this for the way the business is scaling is so rewarding. Exciting times!

The awards ceremony, hosted by Russel Kane and taking place at Tobacco Dock in London, will bring together politicians, VIPs and business leaders from across the UK and the world to celebrate success and enterprise.

We have put Thursday 3rd November on the calendar and are all keeping our fingers crossed!
