The Credit and Debit Card Surcharge Ban

Credit, Card, Charges, Ban

As of January next year companies who offer the option of card payment will not be able to add surcharges to any card transactions. Many companies add charges to deter customers from using credit cards when it comes to high value items even though this is the safest approach to purchasing.

Credit cards provide extra protection and for many a bonus of receiving card points/awards. In certain situations where the product or company is at fault then your money will be in safe hands as a credit card will allow you to retrieve your money back.

Most of our competitors are smaller non-specialist companies of which many do not even offer the option to pay by card and those that do often charge for the privilege.

At Caribbean Blinds we have never added a charge for using credit cards. We want our customers to have the added security and feel safe in their purchase that they are making. External shading systems are a high value investment which can range from typically £2,500 upto in excess of £25,000 so consumers need to be able to make their purchase in a safe, worry free manner so should something go wrong they have protection.

For 30 years we’ve transformed spaces both indoors and outdoors of all sizes, with our superior range of external shading systems. To find out more about Caribbean Blinds and our products view the vast array of information on this website or speak to one of our advisors today on 0344 800 1947.
