The End of the Caribbean Blinds Summer Season

Last Sunday was officially the end of the Summer season and we must say what a season it has been. We have been very grateful for natures fruitful offerings as the sunshine has been one of the most consistent we have had. As a company that offers solar shading and outdoor living solutions, we have been overwhelmed with enquiries from clients and it has been a rewarding journey to have changed their lives with transformations using our innovative products.

Our experienced team have completed some stunning projects this year and we are very grateful for their dedication and hard work in accomplishing such spectacular results for our clients. One of the highlights of this year was being able to provide Ichiba Restaurant in Westfield with one of the most outstanding alfresco areas using our Award Winning Outdoor Living Pods™. This project has been in a very long planning stage and it was such a fulfilling achievement to finally see it completed and standing outside one of the busiest shopping complexes in London. We could not have asked for a better team to have taken this through to the end.

It was also a busy season for our Digital Team as we they travelled all over the country to capture the essence of our advanced systems in real life situations to help inspire our new clients to enhance their homes and garden with our external blinds and outdoor living products. Using state-of-the-art camera equipment and skilled camera operators, we were able to collate a large selection of hi-res imagery that will be used for our new website and brochure for 2019. Some exciting changes ahead of us as we go into our 32nd year of trading and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store.

As we pass each year we are getting busier and busier due to the increase of temperature caused by global warming, it is a sad reality and people’s needs are changing as we see homes and gardens renovated to adapt to the change of atmosphere. This summer we witnessed temperatures reaching as high as 40 degrees, which was uncomfortable for many and it uncovered some underlying issues in homes and gardens all over the country. Our offices we inundated with calls requesting our products and expert advice to help resolves the issues, our lead times increased so that we could effectively deliver each project safely and securely. We are already forecasting next year to be even busier which is why we have brought on board more talented staff in our offices and our technical team. Our team is growing and it is something that we are proud and excited about because we are able to meet more of our clients’ needs and deliver our products faster.

We have seen a lot of changes at Caribbean Blinds over the last two years, we have implemented some great ideas that have taken us to the forefront of our industry. This season has been significant to our plans going forward and now we are out of summer season our team and partners are working vigorously to make summer 2019 even better than this year.
