Mr & Mrs Reddy having recently moved into a seafront property in Southsea were after an awning to maximize their enjoyment from the outdoor space, however, it needed to be extremely robust due to their coastal location (see image below). Based on their exposed property, our surveyor advised the strongest folding arm awning manufactured in the UK, the Cuba model. With quadruple cable tensioned arms which ensure a taut fabric at every position along with drop forged joints in the elbows that can deal with flexing from windy conditions the Cuba was designed to cope with the demands of the most exposed and demanding applications and is used commercially along with residentially for this reason. It also features a full cassette casing that provides a neat hide away along with protecting the fabric and operating mechanism from inclement weather plus is motorised as standard for ease with a built in wind protection sensor to automatically retract it from severe winds.
