The end of garden rooms?

Garden buildings do what they say on the tin, they provide another room away from the home in the garden that can be used for a multitude of things, from a home office, to a gym or even housing a hot tub, however, when it comes to outdoor living they lack a true connection to the garden as even with the windows and doors open they are still enclosed due to the permanent roof….

Wicker furniture, including a corner sofa and table, sits under a pergola. Soft cushions, a bowl of fruit, and decorative items adorn the area, surrounded by brick walls and slatted panels.
When closed, the roof louvers lock together to provide an entirely watertight covering to the terrace.

Louvered roof pergolas are the modern garden room with a twist. Constructed from corrosion resistant aluminium which is maintenance free and can be finished to any colour, the louvered roof fins open at the touch of a button, providing true open air alfresco living exposed to the elements, connected to the garden and sky. When the suns heat gets too much the louvers rotate to provide much needed shade whilst also allowing ventilation from heat build up beneath (or fumes from the BBQ!) and when the weather turns wet, which you’re guaranteed in the British Summer, the roof completely closes providing complete shelter beneath.

Outdoor patio features a black wicker sectional with orange and patterned cushions under a pergola, surrounded by lush green hedges.
Roof louvers rotate through 150 degrees, stopping at any position to provide precise sun control & ventilation whilst integrated side screens offer protection from the elements.

Screens and panels to the sides provide further protection, lowering when needed to provide privacy from the neighbours whilst also offering low level sun protection (no more squinting or wearing sun glasses) and of course much needed wind & rain protection too. Now you can leave your cushions on your furniture.

Ambient accessories including infra-red heating to the cross beams that provide instant warmth when the temperature drops and LED lighting integrated in the roof louvers or around the cross beam (or both) guarantee a pleasant atmosphere during the day or night, in the Summer or Winter. Further enhancements include speakers that can be mounted to the structure and even effortless operation from a smartphone.

Ultra low glare, infra-red radiant heaters on the cross beams, provide instant warmth, creating a cosy environment on the terrace during colder days.

From open to closed at the touch of a button, no other garden room offers the same flexibility and possibilities as the Caribbean Blinds Outdoor Living Pod. When closed, the roof louvers lock together to form an entirely watertight covering to the terrace.
